Action Plan for Improvement of SSC Public Examination Results - March, 2026
1. Special Class :
• Special classes to be conducted in the above session in every day without fail.
• Special class should begin with a 20-minute explanation of the key concepts for the day's topic, followed by 40 minutes of guided practice and application.
• Sessions should focus on key concepts or three questions aligned with one or two academic standards.
• Encourage students to read lessons independently and attempt to answer questions on their own.
• Guide students to consistently practice questions from Abhyasa Deepika to reinforce understanding and improve performance.
• Class Structure: In schools with multiple sections or mediums of instruction, teachers must conduct separate special classes for each. Merging of sections or mediums is strictly prohibited.
• Students should not be seated outside the school, on the porch, as part of special classes.
• Teachers who teach special classes must use a chalk board or digital board.
• Subject Prioritization: Schools should allocate special classes based on student needs. Headmasters must ensure additional sessions are conducted for key subjects such as Mathematics, Physical Science, and English, especially where student performance is below expected levels.
• Monitoring: Headmasters are responsible for closely monitoring the implementation and effectiveness of special classes.
* Syllabus Completion: The entire syllabus must be completed by 10.01.2026, in line with the academic calendar.
2. Regular Periods:
• With syllabus completion during regular periods, a three-day instructional cycle should be followed for each lesson/topic:
Day 1: Explanation of the lesson/topic.
Day 2: Conduct a test based on the academic standards for the topic.
Day 3: Analyze the test and provide individual feedback on effective answer writing.
• Teachers should refer to Principles of Evaluation from previous years to support assessment.
• Emphasis should be placed on improving students' handwriting, clarity, and answer presentation.
• Previous years' question papers must be analyzed and mapped to academic standards to familiarize students with exam patterns.
3. Level-Based Practice:
• Every teacher must develop a comprehensive academic plan that addresses the full syllabus while catering to the diverse learning levels of students.
• Identify students' learning levels early to deliver level- appropriate practice for better outcomes.
• Focused support should be provided to students struggling to pass, particularly in:
Mathematics: Graphs and geometrical constructions
Science: Diagrams and experiments
Social Studies: Map pointing and comprehension
Languages: Comprehension passages and discourses
• Average-performing students should be guided to strengthen conceptual clarity through standards-aligned practice.
• Above-average students should be given extended practice with varied and challenging questions to deep in understanding.
• Regular progress reviews are essential to provide targeted interventions.
• Students should also be encouraged to watch T-SAT exam preparation videos available on YouTube for subject-specific reinforcement.

4. Adoption of Students:
• Teachers should adopt students to offer individualized academic mentorship and support.
• Responsibilities include:
1. Making wake-up calls to students when needed to ensure timely study habits.
2. Engaging regularly with parents to discuss the student's schedule, progress, and areas needing improvement.
• If a student struggles in a specific area, the information must be promptly communicated to the respective subject teacher.
• Subject teachers must maintain detailed records to track interventions and progress.
5. Parent-Teacher Meetings :
• Use Parent-Teacher Meetings to discuss each student's academic progress and overall performance.
• Emphasize the importance of regular attendance and seek parental cooperation in ensuring consistency.
• For hostel students, academic progress should be reviewed in coordination with the hostel warden
6. Pre-Final Examinations :
• Pre-final examinations will be held in February/March 2026. The timetable will be released in February 2026.
• After the examinations, conduct a thorough performance analysis and provide individual feedback, along with clear guidance and strategies for final exam preparation.
